The Kingston Sangha is a non-profit and donation-based group of mindfulness practitioners that come together to breathe and cultivate peaceful living.
The Kingston Sangha was started in 2016 by Order of Interbeing members, Sarah Martin and Hang Nhan. The sangha's practices are based on the Plum Village tradition and the teachings of Zen master, Thich Nhat Hanh, a global spiritual leader, poet and peace activist, revered around the world for his pioneering teachings on mindfulness, global ethics and peace. We meet in-person and online on Monday evenings at 7pm-8:30pm. The weekly meetings include seated and walking meditation, mindful movement, readings, deep relaxation, dharma sharing, and joyful singing. All are welcome. No experience is necessary. |
Attendance is free of charge. Donations are welcome to cover space rental and other sangha care-taking costs. Donations can be made in cash at our weekly in-person meetings or by etransfer to [email protected].
